contributes the majority of IRRC's financial resources.
Thirteen other donors include international
organizations such as Potash and Phosphate Institute,
International Fertilizer Industry Association, and
International Potash Institute, development finance
institutions, universities, NARES (contribution in kind), and IRRI (core and in kind). Donors are
often more than just donors: they provide technical expertise and exchange ideas and new
approaches to solve productivity and sustainability
problems in irrigated rice.
