SSNM provides guidelines and tools for field-specific management of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and other essential nutrients to optimize supply to match the crops’ need for nutrients.

The guidelines enable farmers to aim for yields well-matched to their local climatic and crop-growing conditions. The guidelines ensure effective use by the crop of existing, native nutrients supplied from soil, crop residues, organic materials, and irrigation water.
