Research progress in 2000, by project, as summarized in the
Report of the Director General
These summaries in the Report of the Director General 2000-01 contain information on a project basis. Each file contains a
brief project summary, highlights of research progress during 2000, and next
step activities for 2001. Collaborating institutions and IRRI contacts are also
provided. These updates bring closure to the 27 projects of the old Medium-Term
Plan (MTP). The “next step activities” section for each project update
clearly identifies where research activities of the old projects reside in the 12
projects of the new 2002-2004 MTP.
