Council for Partnership on Rice Research in Asia (CORRA)

The Council for Partnerships on Rice Research in Asia (CORRA) is composed of the leaders of the national agricultural research and extension systems (NARES) of 16 rice growing countries countries in Asia, and IRRI. The main objective of CORRA is to guide, facilitate, support and strengthen the partnerships between and among the NARES in Asia, and IRRI. By sharing rice research and development plans and outcomes, member countries and IRRI are kept abreast of each other's priorities and concerns on rice research. This fosters a culture of mutual support and promotion of scientifically proven technologies and policies in the rice sector of the region.
