Provides professional farm management services, mechanization and postharvest, and training provision for on-field research support.

Field, greenhouse, and screenhouse spaces for research or related purposes
SEED PRODUCTION
Cultivation and production of registered and/or certified rice seeds of rice varieties preferred by client

Short training programs for 10-15 participants per session (in partnership with IRRI Education and Postharvest/Engineering Unit)

HYBRIDIZATION
Planting of parental lines for crossing work, producing F1 (1st filial generation) naked seeds and self to F2 (2nd filial generation)seeds as the end product
RAPID GENERATION ADVANCE
Advancement of F2 seeds to F6 (6th filial generation) seeds where lines are fixed through single seed descent (SSD) method in 1.5 years
BIOTIC STRESS RESISTANCE EVALUATION CENTER
High throughput evaluation of rice breeding materials for host plant resistance against various rice diseases and pests
SEED MULTIPLICATION
Seed increase of elite breeding lines for further yield trials and those released as varieties by NSIC for commercial planting and seed distribution
TRAINING FOR BIOTIC STRESS SCREENING
2-month on-the-job training on biotic stress tolerance screening in partnership with IRRI Education.
