About
As IRRI’s Corporate Services Manager for the Bangladesh office and Southeast Asia offices, Elizabeth leads and guides all service activities including finance and accounting, procurement, human resources, IT, logistics, operations, and risk management. In addition, she works closely with all IBO project teams, organizational partners, and donors.
Elizabeth brings over 29 years of experience in administration and operations management, of which 18 years have been at a leadership level. She has been working in South Asia for the past 24 years. Prior to IRRI, Elizabeth was a partner in a technology business which introduced the first cloud build in Bangladesh and conducted two R&D projects that introduced preloaded tablets with educational materials—using audio and visual cues—at the village level. She was also an independent consultant for several years working on feasibility studies. Before that, she worked for seven years with several US government agencies, including USAID.
Elizabeth holds an MS degree in Organizational Leadership from Columbia Southern University and a BSc degree in Political Science with a minor in Geography from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh.
