Kota Ravi Chandra is IRRI’s Chief Financial and Administrative Officer (CFAO). As a member of the IRRI Leadership Team, he provides strategic leadership and oversight for all corporate services, including Finance, Risk & Legal, Operations, HSSE, and Information and Knowledge Services (IKS). His focus is on driving operational excellence, strengthening stakeholder trust, and ensuring that IRRI's corporate infrastructure and workflows are tightly aligned to support its vital global research agenda.

Mr. Ravi brings more than 20 years of global finance and governance experience across the corporate, not-for-profit, and international development sectors. His deep roots in international agricultural and public health research include serving as the CFO and Head of Finance at ICRISAT and as a Finance & Budget Officer for the World Health Organization (WHO). A Chartered Accountant (All India Rank 25) with an MBA from the Indian School of Business, his cross-sector expertise and strategic acumen will be pivotal in maximizing IRRI's impact on global food systems.
