In this critical role, Neil leads efforts to optimize institutional processes, modernize HR and corporate service technology, and drive innovation to strengthen productivity and cost-effectiveness across IRRI. He brings deep expertise in global HR transformation, ERP implementation, people analytics, and institutional audit and compliance.

Prior to IRRI, Neil held senior HR leadership roles at Sagility Healthcare and Hinduja Global Solutions (HGS), where he led HR functions spanning process and standards, business partnering, employee engagement, compliance, and people analytics — while also serving as HR PMO Lead driving enterprise HR transformation, directing large-scale Workday HCM and SAP SuccessFactors implementations, and deploying AI-driven voicebots for recruitment and chatbots for employee/business partnering support. At Sagility, he worked closely with Procurement, Finance, and other corporate support functions in the deployment of enterprise systems and process standards.

Neil holds an MBA from the Asian Institute of Management, with 18+ years of progressive international experience across retail, publishing, healthcare, and IT-enabled services (ITES), leading large-scale transformation and multidisciplinary teams. He is a PMI-certified Project Management Professional (PMP), SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), Certified SAFe® 6 Agilist, and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, with additional certifications in data analytics and KPI management. His background in instructional design further strengthens his ability to build organizational capability and drive continuous learning.
