Dr. Mirzabaev’s work focuses on economics of climate change mitigation and adaptation, climate-nature-food nexus for rice-based agri-food systems transformations. 

He brings over 20 years of experience in agricultural economics and policy analysis, having held senior roles at the Institute for Food and Resource Economics (ILR) and Center for Development Research (ZEF), both at the University of Bonn, and various private sector organizations.   

Dr. Mirzabaev holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics from the University of Bonn, Germany.
